The Massage Therapy program at HOF Academy’s Maui campus is meticulously crafted to offer an unparalleled blend of therapeutic modalities and foundational knowledge crucial for success in the field. Students immerse themselves in diverse techniques such as Swedish massage, Lomi Lomi, Thai massage, Deep Tissue, and Hot Stones, ensuring a well-rounded mastery of the craft.
Complementing these practical skills, the curriculum incorporates rigorous studies in Kinesiology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Theory. This robust educational framework provides students with the scientific understanding necessary to enhance their massage practice effectively. The current part-time structure of the program—held from Thursday through Saturday—allows students to earn their certification in approximately six months while accommodating various schedules. Additionally, students have the opportunity to enrich their qualifications by combining their massage therapy studies with the esthetics program, aligning their skill set with the broader expectations of employers in Hawaii.
